What isn’t Keanu Reeves in these days? Action movies, superhero flicks (possibly), and there’s even a song by Logic literally named Keanu Reeves. Now, he’s off to conquer the gaming world.

During the Microsoft conference at this year’s E3 2019, CD Projekt Red gave gamers around the world the best surprise – Reeves will star in its hugely anticipated game, Cyberpunk 2077.

Hear the cheer? That’s what hype sounds like. During the show Reeves stated how he’s “fascinated by interesting stories”, and from his recent few movies including the amazing John Wick 3, it makes Cyberpunk 2077 that much more exciting.

From his brief intro in the game, we suspect he’ll be your partner/intel provider throughout the game. We have no problem with that.
This isn’t the first time games have brought in big-time stars, but having someone like Reeves come in only means the world of gaming is definitely growing.

The other biggest announcement was the release date for the open-world first person shooter (finally), slated to be on April 16, 2020 on PC and Xbox One. We have only a little way to go.

The presentation also showed off new gameplay mechanics for Cyberpunk 2077, including hacking other AI systems to beat up enemies, a whip-like weapon and even speedy motorbike action.

E3 2019 has also showed us a 13-minute gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and we’re definitely getting those Sekiro vibes from it.

We’ll keep you posted on other big E3 2019 news.
