PlayStation Plus games of the month are now changed
A few days ago it was announced that July’s PlayStation Plus games of the month would be Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and retro multiplayer racer Horizon Chase Turbo.
Well, you can now say goodbye to Pro Evo 2019, as there has been quite a bit of backlash over the free games PS4 owners would receive this month.
It isn’t Pro Evo’s fault, but compared to the free games of June – Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – gamers were a tad disappointed.
What are we getting instead? Quantic Dream’s adventure game where every choice matters – Detroit: Become Human. Not exactly that sporty.
It’s received high praise from game critics all round thanks to its intriguing story, characters and multiple endings. And it only came out just over a year ago, in May, 2018. Not bad if you haven’t played it yet.
The other game, Horizon Chase Turbo, will stay the same. It’s a retro racer in the vein of OutRun and Lotus Turbo Challenge, it’s a great title to play split screen with up to three friends, when you grow tired of Crash Team Racing (check out our review of that right here).
Once you’re finished with those two, make sure you’ve kept up to date with the best games of 2019. Here are our top picks of the year.
The new PlayStation Plus games are now available to download on the PS Store. Happy playing.
