Here’s a first look at new skateboard game Session
Miss the days of tearing down half-pipes in Tony Hawk Pro Skater? Or falling off everywhere in Skate’s meat challenges? Well Crea-ture Studios plans to bring that back.
The Montreal independent developer has just dropped a teaser for its new skateboard-centric game Session, but it won’t be like any previous skater games players are used to.
Coming to Microsoft Windows and Xbox One, the game will have a ‘True Stance Stick’ control system, which means the analog sticks will act as the skater’s feet. Sounds difficult to master, but we like a challenge.
Players will get to skate all over a 1:1 scale of Lower Manhattan, and progress through the game through various skater styles.
While it’s set to be released in early 2020, Crea-ture Studios have recently dropped a teaser trailer announcing its Early Access date, meaning players can get a taste of it on Tuesday September 17.
Check it out below (it also has some good tunes):
It won’t be the final product, but at least if there are any flaws, the developers will have time to get them fixed.
That’s all a while away, as for now, we still have Control to look forward to, and we’ve got all you need to know about it right here.
The days of skating aren't over, gamers.
