You can now treat your pet to a staycation in Dubai

Fancy a staycation but don’t want to be parted from your four-legged friends? Well, now your pets can be just as pampered as you thanks to pet-friendly staycations at Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence. We kid you not.

Upon arrival, cats and dogs are treated to a luxury welcome pack full of gourmet treats and a welcome letter (we are unaware of which pet language this is written in) to help them de-stress and settle in to their five-star surroundings. Pet-friendly services on offer include in-room dining, pet sitting and dog walking. There’s even a mobile grooming service, during which your pet will be treated to a pampering session and some TLC. The grassy area within the hotel’s grounds is perfect for your pets to run around and stretch their little legs in, too.

Feeling left out? Thankfully you’ll also be looked after. Your pet-friendly staycation includes benefits such as access to Wild Wadi, complimentary private beach access at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and a breakfast buffet at the Club Lounge. If you don’t fancy leaving the hotel, there’s a rooftop swimming pool and children’s pool at which to keep cool in and while the hours away.

The hotel offers a variety of accommodation options, including one, two, three and four bedroom duplex apartments. Upon check-in, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll even find the pantry stocked with all the necessary groceries and pet food.

And all this coincides with National Dog Day on Friday 26 of August – we say it’s time to pamper the pooch.

Pet staycations aren’t a new thing. In Singapore, for example, a variety of the city’s top hotels offer a similar service, including the Capella Singapore, where you can even splurge on a villa with a private pool for you and your dog to enjoy.

UAE residents’ rates for a stay at Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence start from AED918 (inclusive of taxes). Log on to to find out more and book in some me-time with your pets.
