The Outlet Village is now open
We are a city of shoppers, so it’s not surprising that another mega-outlet has just been added to the ever-expanding list of malls in Dubai. The Outlet Village, which is billed as the city's first upscale outlet mall, opened to the public over the weekend, Meraas has announced.
Luxury brands that are on offer include the likes of Fendi, Valentino, Givenchy, Tom Ford, Tory Burch, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo and Kenzo. Other brands include DKNY, Guiseppe Zanotti and Galeries Lafayette. The Tuscan-themed mall is located in Jebel Ali and is expected to welcome 30 million shoppers annually. We predict a lot of credit card bashing is about to happen...
Shoppers can trawl the stores for bargains from a large selection of luxury and contemporary fashion, sportswear, furniture and household items.
And look at all the bags!
The outlet’s architects took inspiration from the Italian city of San Gimignano’s Gothic and Tuscan architecture, so design features include mismatched stonework and several fountains - there's even a stone wishing well. From the pictures it looks quite different to anything else we’ve seen in Dubai.
Hungry shoppers can also take regular pit stops at eateries such as PF Changs, Operation Falafel, Tashas, Godiva and The Brass.

The mall is open from 10am to 10pm Sunday to Wednesday and from 10am to midnight Thursday to Saturday.
