VIDEO: This is what Dubai's Bluewaters Island will look like

A new video gives us a detailed look at what life on Bluewaters Island will look like and *spoiler alert* it looks awesome.

The short clip introduces Bluewaters as a destination with leisure and entertainment, retail, hotels and beach clubs and residences. The private island will have private access from Sheikh Zayed Road, a mono rail system and a pedestrian bridge to the beach.

All ten of the residential buildings offer waterfront living (which will definitely mean a premium price tag), and the penthouses look particularly ostentatious - we're talking floor-to-ceiling views of the sea from your bedroom and a private outdoor pool.

Bluewaters is of course home to Ain Dubai (previously called The Dubai Eye), which is a 260 metre structure that will be the biggest Ferris wheel in the world once completed.

The wheel’s diameter is 250 metres, and once this is placed on its four-legged frame, it’s between 260 to 262 metres tall. As well as the vast observation wheel, there’s an island full of entertainment and dining facilities below. A 4D cinema will give visitors the essential facts about Dubai, leading to escalators up to the load platform. The ‘flight’ of the wheel is expected to be around 48 minutes long, giving you an ever-changing view of the city.
