1. Foundations complete for Dubai’s new tallest tower
Work is well underway for The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour, which will take the title as Dubai’s tallest building. Emaar confirmed earlier this week that the pile foundations are complete and over the first structural facets will be visible soon.

2. Millions of fake items seized in Dubai raids
Dubai Economic Department (DED) posted a video on Twitter showing millions of counterfeit goods from warehouse raids. One of the warehouses had over a million products including handbags, clothes, printers, cosmetics, watches and even contact lenses.

3. Abu Dhabi teenager ordered to clean streets for reckless driving
A 19-year-old Emirati man has been ordered to clean the streets in Abu Dhabi for three months as punishment for reckless driving. The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department shared a video of the man’s 4x4 sliding in front of a crowd of people before hitting a pedestrian.
