The US electronics ban is now in force, and affected arlines are coming up with way to compat the issue. Emirates announced today that, like Qatar Airways, they will be offering complementary laptops to all First and Business Class passengers.

However, all passengers will be able to use their laptop handling service, which enables you to keep your laptop with you right up until boarding. The airline released this video today which shows how the service works, with electronic equipment package in bubble wrap and taken the the plane's hold.

At the other side, you simply present your boarding pass and collect your items.
