Eddie Izzard
The Yemen-born British comedian and endless marathon runner will be bringing his unique brand of rambling, sort-of- historical one-man-show-style comedy to Dubai. It’s less stand-up and more performance, a two-hour absurdist rumination on life, philosophy, religion and makeup, all shot through with impressions and strange tangents. As you get gradually drawn into his world, you really won’t know where the time has gone.

Bebe Rexha
Not quite sure why this is being billed as a “pre-party” for Justin Bieber when it’s a week apart. Still, the young Albanian – adding to a list that includes Rita Ora and Dua Lipa – ought to be a big draw in her own right, with more than one billion Spotify streams and 1.3 billion views on YouTube/VEVO. Best known for singles “No Broken Hearts” with Nicki Minaj and “In The Name of Love” with Martin Garrix, she first rose to prominence by writing the Eminem/Rihanna collaboration “Monster” in 2013 and has also penned tracks for Selena Gomez and Pitbull.
