1. Dubai is getting its very own floating Venice
Kleindienst, the mastermind behind Dubai’s The Floating Sea Horse Villas, has announced that it will be developing the region’s very own Floating Venice.
The project, that is set to start its construction phase in the second quarter of 2018, will be located in The World islands, 4km offshore from Dubai, and will bring an authentic Venetian experience to the Middle East.

2. Etihad’s latest safety video is seriously stylish
Entitled “Runway to Runway”, the video directed by Paul Butterworth uses models from IMG and WME model agency, designer dresses and behind the runway scenes to deliver a series of important safety messages.

3. Dubai to get new neighbourhood
‘District 2020’ is the legacy project of Expo 2020. It will feature 65,000 square metres of residential space and 135,000 square metres of commercial space. The multi-purpose project will also be the first location in the world to have 5G mobile network.

4. An orchestra is holding a concert on Jebel Jais
Global sensation Vivaldianno – City of Mirrors will see a full-blown orchestra play on Jebel Jais on October 27, 2017. The show, devised by Czech musician and film composer, Michal Dvořák, mixes music (both classical and art-rock) with 3D visual effects and a light show.
