Eternal optimist and regular Dubai visitor Will Smith has just revealed what we already knew… He is a huge fan of Dubai. In fact, it’s one of his favourite cities.

The 47-year-old actor, who is jetting over to the UAE for a screening of Suicide Squad next week, told Virgin Radio host Kris Fade how much he loves the city.

“Man, I love Dubai. My two favourite cities on Earth are Dubai and Miami,” he said. “The way that Dubai dreams is really similar to how I dream.”

Will’s Instagram is full of Dubai snaps, and he’s regularly spotted around town. On New Year’s Eve in 2014, he popped onto the stage to perform with Jazzy Jeff. He’s also done a Skydive over The Palm Jumeirah and snapped a selfie with his wife, Jada, with the Burj Al Arab in the background.

Will plays Deadshot in the upcoming action movie – a character with dubious morals, much like the rest of the squad. He’s just one big name in the A-list cast which includes Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Ben Affleck and Cara Delevigne. The story follows a gang of super-villains recruited as a special government task force to carry out black ops missions. Of course, they all range from barking mad to completely insane, and are only helping the government in exchange for clemency on previous convictions.
