Three ladies nights in one
Century Village, the ring of bars and restaurants in the shadow of Dubai’s tennis stadium, is the latest ladies night destination. It has combined three of its venues into one – as you might have guessed from the name – on Wednesday nights. The participating venues are Joey’s, St Tropez Bistro and SoHo Bar and Grill, and each venue is offering ladies three complimentary beverages – which makes, yes, nine for an evening. Add in games likes “Spin it to Win Wheel” and “Giant Darts” and you’re looking at a lot of uncomplicated fun.

Sahlab
A drink that will warm the hearts of expats from the Levant has just arrived at Operation Falafel. Sahlab, traditionally sipped in winter, is a hot and sweet concoction of warm milk, rose water, mastic and cream, and
is garnished with pistachios, cinnamon and coconut shavings. Best cradled with two hands, you can order it for AED18 at outlets on The Beach, Downtown and Motor City.

Ting-a-Ling Mondays
Miss Lily’s certainly hasn’t been de-toxing this month. The Jamaican-themed restaurant and lounge has recently launched Ting-a-Ling Mondays, where guests can enjoy classic Jamaican reggae, dancehall and Soca tunes while tucking into home-style West Indian food. DJ Crown Prince is the man behind the decks.
