If there’s one sentence that makes us question someone’s sanity during summer it’s, “Are you coming to the pool?” Rocketing temperatures make swimming more of a torture mechanism than a workout with the sun beaming its almighty rays.

But there is a hidden trove of indoor pools in Dubai, perfect for those who like to relax, or put in some serious lengths. Front crawl, butterfly or doggy paddle your way through this lot…

Burj Al Arab
This place has two indoor pools but, being a seven star hotel, both of them are infinity and located a whopping 150 metres above the Arabian Gulf. Enjoy 180 views of Dubai’s skyline from either the mixed-pool or female only pool.
Details: Pool use is reserved for hotel guest and spa members. It’s got to be a bit exclusive, doesn’t it?
