Cinco De Mayo at Loca
Celebrate the Mexican national day in style on Saturday, May 5, with a five (yes, five) hour brunch at Loca. The Latin-American specialists are going all out for the big day, too. As well as the tasty fajitas, huervos and outstanding desserts, Loca will be putting on some fun and games for guests to enjoy. Chief of these will be the Mexican Loteria, which is a game that follows the rules of bingo. If you’re one of the lucky ones to win a game, you’ll bag yourself a mystery prize. It’s AED285 and takes place between 12pm-5pm.

The evening will be presented by the familiar voice of Dubai Eye’s Ross Crist, too. It’s free entry, and there’ll be special offers on beverages throughout.

The latest nightspot on the block has landed. Bar Rumba is on the upper level of the recently opened Asia de Cuba and has launched not one, but two ladies nights that offer free-flowing grape and bubbles. The music is a mix of 80s, house and R ‘n’ B, so you can get your groove on every Tuesday. Oh, and did we mention it has its very own Hot Dog stall?

The Observatory
Whilst some other bars pride themselves on being hidden away, you’ll spot this one from your place in the traffic trauma of Sheikh Zayed Road and wish you were there. Enjoy an after work drink or a long, slow session with incredible views of the whole Palm and the Marina. Don’t forget to order something to nibble on; the venue has one of the most varied bar menus around.
