A Game of Thrones hotel has opened and you can stay in it
Just in time for the final season, fans of Game of Thrones will get the chance to live like a wildling in an ice hotel made of snow and ice.
And while temperatures drop to a freezing -5C, guests can stay warm with fur-lined sleeping bags and enjoy hot juice throughout their stay.
But the hotel only recommends you stay one night because it can still be rather chilly.
The Game of Thrones Ice Hotel is located in the Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in the town of Kittilä, just a 90 minute plane journey from Helsinki.
In collaboration with HBO Nordic, the 16 rooms were created using 20 million kilograms of snow and 350,000 kilograms of natural ice.
The structure was created by ice sculptors from all over the world, and each room has a character sculpture from the world renowned series, including the Night King and Wun Wun.
Open until April 21, a snow room starts at AED1,300 (€320) per night.
Janne Pasma, operations manager at Laplands Hotel SnowVillage said: “So many did not get to visit us last year, so we gave another possibility for that, and we created an even better one."
There is also an ‘Ice Restaurant’ where you can enjoy a 3-course dinner and an ‘Ice Bar’ where you sip on some fine grape, Tyrion-style.
We can't wait to go.
