Originally formed by the late rapper Tupac Shakur, The Outlawz were struck by more tragedy last month when one of their other members, Hussein Fatal, was killed in a car crash. Now a duo, this is The Outlawz’ first gig in the Middle East, and it’s billed as a tribute to all their three fallen members (another member named Yaki Kadafi died shortly after Tupac). It’s set to be an emotional night of legendary hip hop. Tickets are AED100 in advance and AED150 on the door.

Dubai Summer Pass
Many Dubai Mall devotees will be used to passing the odd shark on a Saturday shopping trip, but the constant crowds outside Dubai Aquarium show what a marvel it is – the ten million litre tank is home to a whopping 30,000 animals. This is one of the star attractions on Dubai Summer Pass, which includes discount vouchers for Reel Cinemas, Sega Republic and Dubai Ice Rink to name just a few.
The Dubai Summer Pass includes cinema passes, sega republic credits, ice skating and more for AED250. Visit www.dubaisummerpass.com

Marko Liv has played the Ibiza circuit (Pacha, Amnesia, Ibiza Rocks) and picked up a few awards on his path. Now the Scottish DJ and producer has his sights on Dubai, with a gig at Zero Gravity this Friday. Other names on the bill include DJ Smokinggroove, Andrew Hartley, and ShortList Dubai’s very own Mark Pickup.

Novikov Restaurant & Bar
Three of Russia’s most powerful entrepreneurs joined together to make Novikov a swanky celeb hangout in Moscow and London. Now the trio are set to conquer Dubai, with their newly opened restaurant in Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. The stylish oriental food blends modern dishes from Japan, China and South East Asia. Being so brand new (it opened on Wednesday), bagging yourself a table might not be easy.
Sheraton Grand Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road,
Manchester United V Tottenham
Now that the football season is in full swing, it’s time to get clued up on where to watch it. Manchester United fans meet at Harvesters. It’s got everything you want from a pub: a big, open space, loads of TVs, mammoth portions of food that might make your doctor start planning for an early retirement and a riotous atmosphere on matchday. Manchester United might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no denying their global appeal, which is reflected in the multicultural crowd.
