Luxury private submarines in the UAE?
The super-rich already have private islands and personal yachts, but soon they could have a combination of both. Yes, submergible island yachts are a thing, and if you’re among the city’s elite you can request one.
The floating home, made by Australian company Migaloo, is available in five sizes, the largest of which measures 283 metres. It can be submerged, much like a submarine, to travel through rough seas, or simply take a tour of the ocean.
And the cool features don’t stop there. Optional extras include a helipad, in case you’d like to fly yourself home from work, and an underwater dining saloon. You can even feed sharks from the comfort of your own home.
Seeing as the UAE has some of the largest superyachts in the world, we don’t think it’ll be long until one of these is sailing through the Arabian Gulf.
