Daniel Cheong and Beno Saradzic are responsible for some of the UAE’s most iconic photographs. Timelines are filled with their mesmerising photographs of the Burj Khalifa reaching through the clouds, the city sprawling beyond Garhoud Bridge and even the traffic at Dubai Airport.

‘Dubai from Dawn to Dusk – A Real Mirage’ is a collection of 20 pictures taken by the photographers, showing the architectural marvels of the city. Sofitel The Palm’s dedicated art space, Monda Gallery, will open to the public for the free exhibition between January 16 and February 28.

Monda Gallery owner, Etienne van den Peereboom, commented: “It is a great pleasure and honour to organise this exhibition with Beno and Daniel, who have both been pioneers of the Dubai photographic scene. No-one is better known and recognised than Daniel for his digitally blended mesmerizing rooftop pictures of the city, while Beno brings a constantly refreshed and personal variety of approaches to capture the city’s architectural majesty. The combination of their works in one place will give visitors a very unique and engaging experience.”

Both artists will be at the exhibition opening on January 16 from 11am until 9pm. The exhibition will run until February 28. www.mondagallery.com
