These Chinese New Year festivities will have you tapping in to your adventurous side as we are led into the New Year by the energetic and curious Red Fire Monkey.

Atlantis, The Palm
All set for the 4,713th – we counted them – Chinese New Year? They certainly seem to be at Atlantis The Palm, which will unleash a live Lion Dance performance and firework display. The hotel’s award-winning restaurant Yuan – a favourite with Kim Kardashian and TV and film producer Carla Dibello when in town – have also set an a la carte menu especially for the occasion, packed full of their signature sweet and sour flavours, Angus steak tenderloins and Chinese rice and noodle dishes. Atlantis is also offering discounts on a variety of spa treatments like facials and de-stress massages at ShuiQi Spa and up to 40 percent off at luxury retailers like Tiffany & Co, Rodeo Drive and Levant throughout February.

Dubai Aquarium
Weedy Sea Dragons will bring a touch of China to region whilst aquarium divers bring the added wow factor with their rendition of the Dragon Dance. The captivating performance will be for 15 minutes every hour from 2pm until 8pm.
