You may have seen for yourself from the roadside that work on Dubai Frame is almost complete. It was scheduled to open in December 2015, but we can now expect it to launch some time very soon. The $43.5 million project does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a fame of the view towards old and new Dubai.
At 150 metres high and 93 metres wide, the photo frame near Zabeel Park is hard to miss, and with Dubai Municipality confirming that the project is 77 percent finished, it’s starting to look pretty awesome. Dubai Municipality uploaded two impressive videos of the Dubai Frame to their Instagram account, updating residents of the progress and giving a view from above.
The first post reads: “HE Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality checked the workflow of Dubai Frame project that is implemented by the department at an estimated cost of 160 million dirhams. Additionally, 77% of the project is completed so far.”
