Pete Tong, Sam Feldt and Mike Mago headline One Big Friday

It’s all gone Pete Tong at Zero Gravity, as the legendary British DJ tops the bill at One Big Friday on December 9, along with Dutch DJs and producers Sam Feldt and Mike Mago.

One Big Friday is a massive day-to-night party spanning 12 hours. Things kick-off at 3pm with poolside tunes from international and local artists. Expect plenty of food stations and a festival vibe carrying you through until the early hours, when the main acts will be on the decks.

Pete Tong is no stranger to Dubai, and last year he played Zero Gravity into 2016. He told ShortList at the time, “The city [Dubai] seems to double in size every time I return, and the hotel seems to get further from the airport!”

Speaking of the future of dance music, he said, “There are a few strands that are really interesting. From the UK, Fono, Mura Masa and Icarus are making great music. I love the whole romantic techno sound from Kolsch, through Joris Voorn to Dixon and I’d throw Tale Of Us, Mind Against and Seven Doors in there as well. The future is bright.”

23-year-old Dutchman Sam Feldt is also on this weekend’s line-up. The DJ’s name has swept across the world since his 2015 remake of Robin S’ “Show Me Love”, which peaked at number 4 in the UK chart and was certified gold in Australia.

Fellow Dutchman Mike Mago is known for singles like “Outlines” and “Deeper Love”, both released under Spinnin’ Records.

One Big Friday is free to enter before 6pm and AED150 thereafter. Advance tickets are available via www.platinumlist.net. For VIP packages call Zero Gravity on +971 4 399 0009 and +971 55 500 9111.
