Crazibiza to play Dubai
Forget celebrity power couples, it’s all about the DJ duos. Following on from the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Laidback Luke and Art Department, Crazibiza is another collaboration from two grassroots DJs who have gained more recognition as a pair than they did solo. Since forming Crazibiza in 2010, they’ve toured the world, and this Thursday they’re bringing their unique blend of house music to Dubai’s Zero Gravity.
The Hungarian musicians, Tommyboy and Agebeat, have been on the underground scene since the early 90’s, with residencies at some of Europe’s biggest clubs under their belt.
Despite the fact they’ve been collaborating for five years, it was only in 2012 that they started putting music out to the masses. It’s been a long journey for the pair, who have gone from dingy clubs in their hometown, Budapest, to 150-date tours. Now their remixes are often incorporated into the sets of famous DJs, including Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez.
