Dubai Beach Clubs: 6 great beach clubs to try in Dubai this week
With summer well and truly here, we've shortlisted six great beach and pool clubs that will have you getting your tan on in style. Just remember to hydrate and don't forget to put on some skin protection. Burning isn't fun, mind.
A 39-metre glass infinity pool puts Zero Gravity up there with the best of them. The beach-club-meets lounge bar vibe is a popular one, and for good reason. A favoured venue with top music acts, the beach club has a destination feel, especially when you look out onto the stunning views across the Arabian Gulf. There’s day beds, loungers and many bars, not to mention a cutting edge sound system.

The Penthouse has two glass-lined swimming pools on the 16th floor of FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai and is arguably the best outdoor vantage you’ll find in the city. It’s split into two sections: the City View Lounge Terrace, which hosts the day club and pools, all looking out to the Burj Al Arab and beyond; and the Marina View Bar Terrace. Service and mixed drinks are as slick as the venue itself – and really, this is the kind of place that implores you to order something fancy, though doesn’t sting you too much for the indulgence.

This Dubai institution is completely laid back and the new pool that opened late last year is a big hit. The clientele is mixed with couples and groups of different ages, with everyone out to have a good time at the lively hangout. As day turns to night you’re likely to find a live band or some sort of music festival on the sands. There’s also drinks deals during the day and with free pool and beach access it’s a guaranteed hit time after time.
