If your idea of a solid night out involves being flung to the floor in front of a room ringing with laughing and whooping, grab your Stetson and jump right back on the bucking bronco at Dubai’s Rodeo Drive.
Just upstairs from The Stables sports pub, even on a Sunday night you’ll find this place packed to the rafters. A live band sings pop hits while punters battle it out on the bull, or go head-to-head in games of hops pong and foosball. It can be no great coincidence that Sunday also happens to be ladies’ night, as is Tuesday, but there’s a happy hour from 6pm until 9pm every night of the week, with pints starting from AED27.
If you’re in the mood to let loose, this is a prime spot for it.
There’s a wide range of luridly hued mixed drinks, some of which are served in fish bowls – which should tell you everything you need to know about the place. Feeling a little more measured? There’s a decent range of hops on draught.
Food isn’t really what you’re here for, but if you need to mop up it’s hard to go wrong with wings, loaded tater tots and burgers. Just maybe not before that bronco.
Y’all run along now...
