If you’re looking to get accustomed to a Scottish night out, your search is over. Also, it’s your chance to join a society.
Scottish bar Makar is launching a brand-new “Scotch Egg Society” that’s all about the country’s famed barley-based drink, scotch eggs and live music. What more could you need?
From Wednesday July 3, guests will start with a blending session of the barley-based drink from 6.30pm. Clearly starting off classy. While the sessions won’t be every Wednesday, Makar will surprise its guests.
Guests will also get to choose from a range of scotch eggs, and if you’re not sure what they are, it’s a hard or soft-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and baked or deep-fried. In other words, lovely.
Prices for the Scottish drink are priced at AED40, while the special scotch eggs are at AED30. Guests can opt for the mix-and-match offer and get both for AED60.
There will also be live music from folk-singer Jamie Wrecs from 7pm until 10pm. Sit back, sip on some drinks and enjoy the musical vibes.
