Five of the best happy hours in Dubai
Ask when happy hour is anywhere else in the world and you’ll get a raised eyebrow of disgust in return. “Oh, that’s all you’re here for”, scoffs the waiter. Doesn’t exactly make us ‘happy’, does it? Drop into a bar in Dubai, though, and you’ll be encouraged to stay for it. In fact, you’ll probably show up just on time. That’s because happy hour in the city is something of an institution, and – especially at these cheerful spots – intended to put a smile on your face.
Barrels Sports Arena
Drinks for AED21. What else would you like to know about Barrels’ eight-hour happy hour that offers 50 percent off hops? The bar in Bur Dubai is also lined with sizeable TVs for some splendid sports watching. Still, great happy hour.
