INTERVIEW: Einmusik's playlist

The new clubbing season is heating up, and German DJ Einmusik is one of the first international names to fly-in. Bringing his eclectic mix of electronica to Level 41 on July 31, Einmusik will be supported by Spanish DJ Edu Imbernon.

We grabbed five minutes with the label owner and Berlin resident, otherwise known as Samuel Kinderman, to listen to his playlist and find out what to expect from his Dubai gig.

Will you have time to do anything in Dubai other than spin some tracks?
I will stay one or two days longer just to have a walk around and enjoy real summer – which isn’t so easy in Germany!

What should people listen to before your gig to get in the right mood?
I think my newest set from Fusion [Festival] is a great intro, I have new and older tracks in there, and it was a great atmosphere.

What track best defines where your love of music stems from?
I think Visage "Fade to Grey" was one of the songs which inspired me the most in my early years. It is a magic composition with a great balance between electronic sounds and melodies.

What is your current go-to floor-filler?
This is my new remix of THe WHite SHadows “Reload”, coming in a few days on Crossfrontier Audio. His productions are really refreshing.

Which artist will we be hearing more of in 2015?
I think Jonas Saalbach will be a must see in 2015. He will release a beautiful album (I had the chance to listen to some songs) and he will have new tracks on Bedrock for example. Yes, this is the man of 2015 for me. Next to it the Third Son productions are at the moment simply unique.
