Support acts for Martin Garrix New Year announced
Martin Garrix has just posted a video for Dubai fans ahead of his New Year’s Eve gig at Meydan. And it comes with confirmation of his support acts – spoiler alert, they’re all mates of his from Holland.
Jay Hardway, Julian Jordan and Justin Mylo will kick off the night ahead of the 19-year-old megastar’s hotly anticipated performance.
Possibly the most famous of the bunch, Jay Hardway is best known for co-writing “Wizard” with Martin Garrix. The track made the top 10 chart in the likes of Belgium and the UK. He’s also released tracks with Sander Van Doorn’s label, Doorn Records, as well as music giant Spinin’ Records.
Julian Jordan is no stranger to massive crowds. The 20-year-old has supported the likes of Nicky Romero, Sandro Silva and Gareth Emery. As a long-time friend of Garrix, the pair often collaborate, having released singles such as BFAM. Currently ranked number 17 DJ in Amsterdam, he’s a big name in his home country, and is rapidly becoming known across the world.
Finishing off the trio of support acts is Justin Mylo – fresh some some of Europe’s biggest parties this summer, including Multiply Ibiza, he’s ready to warm up the decks on New Year’s Eve.

The Dutch DJ and producer will light up the skyline with a gig dubbed ‘Martin Garrix Dance Eve’ for 10,000 people at Meydan Racecourse – giving you a stunning backdrop of the fireworks at Burj Khalifa.
Dodging the usual New Year traffic blackspots, the event has 8,000 parking spaces. What’s more, Meydan will host a food and drinks village for the event, so people can recharge their batteries throughout the party, which kicks off at 6pm and lasts until 3am.
