The CEO of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, Ahmed Al Khaja said, over the past few years, the e-commerce market of Dubai has experienced substantial growth. And this Great Online Sale aims to provide a platform for retailers as they work to develop an omnichannel strategy for retailing by catering to the demands of customers across the nation.
He added that traditionally, the retail festival calendar always gave much importance to attracting customers to the physical stores. But today the scenario has changed and it is now equally important to support the journey of the retail partners in digitalizing their business.
This is the reason why the DFRE has decided to go for a new initiative. This new venture will provide the customers a chance to explore great deals and to buy things of their choice, he said.
