The Emirates Astronomical Society has confirmed that the first day of Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on April 21, 2023. The holy month of Ramadan culminates on the day when Eid Al Fitr arrives. This is the biggest celebration for the Arabic people. This day is celebrated with devotion and a sense of fraternity dawns upon the devotees. The Emirates Astronomical Society has the responsibility to determine the exact date for Eid Al Fitr. This is the most important festival for Middle Eastern Countries. It unites the countrymen together so that they can offer their prayers and pray for the well-being of mankind.
Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr are determined according to the Islamic Calendar. Eid Al Fitr usually coincides with the first day of the lunar calendar in the month of Shawwal. The Muslims begin their celebrations on Eid Al Fitr after offering their first prayer during the dawn. The Islamic calendar comprises 12 lunar months with 354 or 355 days. The calendar is synced closely with the Gregorian calendar. The Muslims observe this day with purity and peace. They follow their traditions on Eid Al Fitr.

According to the readings of the society, the holy month of Ramadan would comprise 29 days this year. The officials have declared an off for the public and private sectors.
