Grease The Musical
The all-American 1950s kitsch-a-thon, replete with all the classics from Sandy and Danny and company, comes to the World Trade Centre in a sparkling musical spectacular. This is the same show that has been wowing crowds across the UK, and there’s no way you don’t know all the words by now.

Carl Cox
The King of Ibiza will deliver a stellar day at Blue Marlin. He’s the original champion of techno and has been a dance music pioneer since the late 1980s. He’ll be joined on the terrace by Jon Rundell. What a treat.

Step Music Festival
How about this for a lineup of regional music talent? With the emphasis on indie, alternative and hip-hop, this 12-hour, day-long show features 17 artists from the UAE, Lebanon, Jordan and beyond. Mashrou’ Leila, The Wanton Bishops and Autostrad are perhaps the biggest names on the bill, although the likes of The Recipe DXB will have a major following.

Dubai Summerfest
Gramps, Peetah and Mr Mojo from the Grammy award-winning reggae band Morgan Hertitage are all set to move the XL Beach Club crowd with their many, many hits like “Perfect Love Song”, “New Sign, New Home” and “Reggae Bring Back Love”.

The Laughter Factory
Award-winning and BAFTA nominated comedian Phil Nichol is all set to charm Dubai with his “weird and wonderful” stories about his life as a singer-songwriter and actor. The Canadian will be joined by Stephen Grant and Imran Yusuf.
