There’s going to be a massive Game of Thrones water show in Dubai next week

In anticipation for the much-awaited season 7 of Game of Thrones, OSN and Dubai Festival City have joined forces to create a piece that might be just as magical as the award-winning HBO show itself.

The display will use of fire, lasers, lights, music and pyrotechnics with a GOT theme on Monday evening.

Seems like a good way to kick-off the return of one of the biggest shows on the planet.

If you’re unfamiliar with the show (absolutely shameful, but luckily you still have four days to catch up) or haven’t been keeping up with the latest teasers and trailers of season seven, here’s what we’ve gathered so far…

It will move at a faster pace
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jaime Lannister told US magazine that one episode will feature just as much if not more action than an entire previous season of the show.
A change that Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) is pretty happy about. “This season is really different than any other season because it’s accelerating toward the end.
“A lot of stuff collides and happens much, much quicker than you’re used to seeing on Thrones… it’s so different than what everybody is used to. It’s quite exciting,” he told .

It will only feature 10 episodes…
Much like the previous six seasons, this one will have 10 episodes, each of which will be between 50 and 60 minutes long.

Ed Sheeran will be making a brief appearance
Sheeran agreed to make an appearance after hearing that Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) was a fan of his music.
If you, like Maisie, are a fan of the 26-year-old’s music, you’d be happy to know that he doesn’t die. “I don’t die, I don’t die in it… I’m only in it for five minutes”, he told The Daily Star in April.

There’s a lot more to get through, but we don’t want to ruin it for those who haven’t caught up with the latest episode yet – best hurry, there’s just four days left till it premieres on HBO.

Game of Thrones season 7 premiere
