Dates for Dubai Shopping Festival announced
Let’s face it, we all love a good bargain. Be it buying a TV at half price or buying designer goods without worrying about how we are going to afford to eat for the next few weeks (the struggle is real), there’s something magical about saving a few hard earned pennies.
Naturally, when we heard that the dates of the 23rd Dubai Shopping Festival had been announced, we did what most do – had a little panic attack which was followed by a dance and a long chat about how “we are only going to buy what we need” – sure. See the gif below for an accurate representation of us celebrating the sale.
For all those looking to bag a number of bargains, here are the dates that you need to note down in your diary – December 26 to January 28.
This is when dozens of outlets across the region will be holding massive discounts on everything from clothing to accessories to household goods. In short, it’s the perfect time to re-do your wardrobe, house and well, everything basically.
While the exact outlets taking part have not yet been announced, we assume that previous participants like Forever 21, New Look, H&M, Zara and Home Centre will be taking part – watch this space.
To help you fulfill all your shopping needs, we have prepared a shortlist of tips and tricks – you're welcome.
While the whole point of a sale is to help you save money, you won’t be saving anything if you don’t have money to spare.
Know what you want
Start sorting out your closet now. That way, when December 26 comes around, you know exactly what you want – we’re talking sizes, colours and cuts.
Prepare a playlist
“Thrift Shop” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis is the perfect anthem to help get you in the mood for what is bound to be a long day at the mall.
With so much on offer, you’re bound to get a bit overwhelmed. So, be ready to feel all the emotions commonly associated with sales – anger, joy, frustration and bliss are just a few.
