Chris Rock has postponed his Dubai gigs

Chris Rock’s Dubai gigs have officially been postponed

The sad news was announced on Flash Entertainment’s – the event’s organiser – official Facebook page.

Those who have already purchased tickets to his gigs that were scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on January 5 and 6 are advised to contact the customer service teams at either Ticketmaster or Virgin Megastore.

If you’re new to Dubai or somehow missed the fact that the 52-year-old comedian and actor would be bringing his “Total Blackout” world tour to Dubai, here’s a bit for info on his soon to be rescheduled show…

  • “Total Blackout” is Chris Rock’s first major world tour in nine years.
  • A reviewer for The Guardian said of Rock’s opening night in Perth: “At times unsure if they are allowed to laugh, the crowd is reminded that Rock is not simply a joke machine or standout Oscar host […]; rather, he’s one of the most incendiary speakers of his generation.” Basically what they’re saying is, if you’re going to see Chris Rock, you can expect some close-to-the-bone jokes. We’ll keep you posted on when this will be.

I’m here for the next three nights Niagara Falls! #TotalBlackOutTour #avalontheater #Canada
