In its 17th tournament, the UAE will be hosting the biggest Asian Football Championship yet, and there will be loads of games you’ll want to get down to across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The Laughter Factory
At just AED160 per ticket, a night of side-splitting entertainment with these comedy giants is always a great way to shake off the January blues. This month, Canadian comic Tom Stade is returning to Dubai after four years, Scottish funny guy Larry Dean will be delivery the laughs, and British comedy genius JoJo Smith is coming to town.

Kite Fest
If you’re a kite enthusiast, then we don’t really need to convince you to mark this date down in the diary. If you’re yet to convert, hear us out; watch the skies come to life with bizarre shapes and colours, dance away to the DJ’s tunes, and keep the little ones entertained for hours with kite making workshops, face painting sessions and henna tattoo stations. It’s on 10am-7pm and costs only AED25.
