Dubai International Boat show hosts scuba diving sessions

And 27 years after setting sail, the return of the UAE's biggest boating and lifestyle show is sure to put Dubai firmly on the diving map.
The five-day Dubai International Boat Show showcases the crème de la crème of the diving world.
So whether you are new to diving or a veteran scuba diver, listen up - there will be a series of talks led by diving experts and celebrities on Thursday February 28, Friday March 1 and Saturday 2.
International renown underwater photographer Ali Khalifa Bin Thalith who became the first Emirati and Arab recipient to receive the International Photographic Council (IPC) Professional Photographer Leadership Award will be speaking about his experience in the reef.
Along with Imran Ahmad, who has been capturing the magnificence of life both, below and above the water’s surface for over 20 years.
Ernst Van Der Poll Founder & CEO at Connect Ocean will take to the stage to talk about his experiences teaching adaptive diving for people with life-changing injuries.
Christelle Holler, Consultant at Tahiti Yacht Consulting, will be there to talk about her experiences diving in the French Polynesia.
Nico Ghersinich Founder of Sea Masters will be discussing conservation and his work in helping tagging and conserving sharks in Cocos Island.
And last but not least Francis Uy, who will be giving you an insight into his work with different government agencies in the Philippines, like the Department of Tourism and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources to promote diving, to document, and to explore new dive sites in CARAGA region.
