Huge comedy gig to host UK star Alan Davies and more

If you’re a fan of quality comedy (and British hit show QI), you’re going to love who Dubai Opera is bringing in for a one-night show.

British stand-up Alan Davies is headlining a huge comedy gig on Friday June 14, and he’ll be joined by three other top comedians for a night not to be missed.

Kicking off from 8pm, expect quick-witted and bold jokes from the QI star, with humour that’s gotten him sold-out tours across the UK, along with count-less awards in comedy and in acting.

There’s also Welsh comedian Rhys James, who you’ll have seen on top UK shows Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard’s Good News.

The talent doesn’t stop there, as you can expect 22-year-old Tom Lucy to take to the stage as well. Tom was awarded the Best New Comedian award at Edinburgh Fringe in 2017. That’s enough to let you know you’re in for a good night.

The whole gig will be hosted by the hilarious Jarred Christmas (what a name, eh?), a cheeky New Zealander that will have you on the floor.

Can’t say no to a night laughter? You can get your tickets right now, with prices starting from AED150. Better yet, there’s an early-bird discount of 20 percent on VIP and platinum tickets until Thursday April 25 if you’re looking great seats.

Just head over to www.dubaiopera.com to get yourself booked in.

That’s not the only evening of comedy to be had, as Russel Peters will soon be cracking hilarious jokes at the brand-new Coca-Cola Stadium in City Walk on Thursday June 6.

Got plans for Thursday April 25? You do now, as The Laughter Factory is bringing in three talented comedians to have you in a fit of laughter. Get your tickets for it right now.

These next few months will have your sides splitting.
