Where to watch the Champions League Final in Dubai

Football fans, listen up. If you’re on the lookout for the best place to watch one of the biggest sporting events of the year, your search has come to an end.

Kicking off on Saturday June 1 from 11pm onwards, venues across Dubai will be setting up for the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League Final, and we’ve got five of the best.

The first match between Liverpool and Tottenham has been taking over headlines recently, as both teams fought their best to get to Madrid.

The final between the two teams will be the first time English teams will be playing against each other since 2008. More than enough reason to see the monumental match.

Barasti Beach
Of course this popular beachside spot will be setting up for the huge final, and it’s fittingly bringing in a huge screen just for the occasion. Barasti recommends heading down early to get yourself a good spot on the Barasti Middle Deck – well before 11pm. Group packages will be available, but you will have to be quicker than Harry Kane to bag a table as only 16 packages are up for grabs. To get yourself booked in on the double, call up or visit

Barrels Sports Arena
Drinks for AED21. That’s pretty much all you need to know when it comes to reasons for going to Barrels to watch the big game. With 11 screens throughout the cosy bar along with its sizeable main stage screen, expect this place to be buzzing well before the match starts. Crown & Lion
An old-school English pub that’s just the most typical pub’s pub, and with two English teams playing, where better to go (except maybe for the other places on this list)? It does the basics well, with a reasonably priced menu a bucket load of screens dotted about so no matter where you sit, you won’t miss any action from the final.

garden on 8
Media One Hotel’s rooftop venue is already taking in reservations for the huge match, which of course will be shown on its massive screen. If you’re up for all the cheers and banter right on a long bench, be sure to get yourself a table by calling ahead.

Lock, Stock and Barrel JBR
It isn’t just about the party vibes at this buzzing JBR spot, as it will feature the final on its huge projector screen, and on its other smaller ones if guests request it (what else will be on?). The venue spans across two floors, which offers plenty of space for people to kick back and cheer on their team. Whatever team does win, expect to celebrate their victory in style afterwards.
