Lineup announced for The Laughter Factory August
The Middle East’s longest running comedy night, The Laughter Factory, is back with a bang this August.
Ro Campbell is the main event, a UK-based Australian who has performed in over 40 countries as well as headlining every major comedy club in South East Asia. After producing the hit show Comedian Rap Battle which featured at the Edinburgh Fringe from 2013 to 2015, Campbell now writes feature articles for Music Republic Magazine. His witty, dark humour promises to be a big hit.
Also performing is Scott Bennett, who is gaining traction on the comedy scene after his debut stand-up show was nominated for the prestigious Amused Moose Comedy Award and was named one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015.
His second show "Leap Year" was nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival this year following sell-out and critically acclaimed performances at Edinburgh in 2018. Bennett consistently writes and appears on a new show presented by Jason Manford entitled "Panelbeaters", and recently performed a number of sell-out shows in Manchester. In 2017 and 2018 Bennett even supported star Rob Brydon on his UK tour dates.
The final big name is Dave Fulton, American-born but living in London, who has performed in 25 different countries, from Kazakhstan to Tokyo. He has also written and directed a brand-new short film series that is soon to be released onto major platforms Amazon and iTunes.
Starting from just AED140 and running from Thursday August 8 to Friday August 16, this exceptional line-up from The Laughter Factory is not to be missed.
