The 1975 to perform at Coca-Cola Arena tonight
If you’re looking for a top night out this week, get yourselves down to the Coca-Cola Arena where British band The 1975 will performing in Dubai for the first time.
The four-piece from Manchester are right at the top of their game having headlined both Coachella and Lollapalooza, and after the Dubai gig they will top the bill at Reading and Leeds, so why not get down to City Walk’s new venue and see what all the fuss is about?
The 1975 are regularly selling out arenas across the world right now and they picked up the Best British Group and Best British Album prizes at the Brit Awards earlier this year. Fans heading to the gig can expect to see the band perform all of their biggest hits, including The Sound, Chocolate and Somebody Else.
If you haven’t been there yet, the gig will also provide you with an opportunity to check out the Coca-Cola Arena, which opened in June. Boasting a 17,000 capacity, the venue was opened by Canadian comedian Russell Peters, with Maroon 5 the first musical act to perform there the following week. Later this month, the venue will play host to Irish boyband Westlife.
The 1975 gig promises to be a memorable night as the band brings its catchy, feel-good sound to the city for the very first time. With ticket prices starting at AED200, it represents great value for the chance to watch one of the hottest bands around at the moment perform.
The 1975 are renowned for putting on big, action-packed shows, and they live-streamed their recent headline slot at Coachella on YouTube, becoming one of the first global acts to do so.
While prices for the Dubai gig start at AED200, there are various categories, with Gold Circle standing tickets the most expensive at AED895.
Regardless of how much you pay, this is one event not to be missed.
