6 things to do in Dubai this week
Two big events kicked-off this week in the city, with Dubai Watch Week and Dubai Comedy Festival keeping us entertained. In between the action there’s a night market and few club nights to fill our evenings. Let’s do this…
Dubai Watch Week
Given the bling people have a proclivity to sport on their wrist here, it’s somewhat surprising that this is the region’s first ever watch exhibition. Expect to see some of the finest timepieces around, unique horology masterclasses and some beautiful, locally-made efforts being auctioned off as well.

Whose Line is it Anyway
Steven Frost, Steve Steen and Andy Smart are the undisputed kings of British improvisational comedy. Regulars to the Comedy Store in the UK, or viewers of the long-running improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, will immediately recognise their faces, their snarls, their pregnant pauses, their manic miming, their songs… they’ve been doing this for nigh-on three decades now.

Night Warriors at Square
Square Nightclub in JW Marriott Marquis have built a big reputation in a short time. This week brings local talent Sam Farsio to the decks, for a night of non-stop house. It’s free entry all night, but make sure you get your name on the guestlist in advance.

Shop the Night at Tom & Serg
Visit this pop-up night market for an evening full of boutique stalls and interesting buys. fashion, art, jewellry, and homewares will be available along with signature bites from Tom & Serg’s dinner menu.

Crudo Crazy Wednesdays at Embassy

Cinema – Black Mass
Based on a true story, Black Mass is about the most violent criminal in Boston’s history, Whitey Bulger. As the Mafia start to encroach on Whitey’s business, he teams up with the FBI, becoming an informant in order to rid South Boston of the Mafia’s hold.
