The Pac-Man has been all over the news this year, first for the build-up to his fight with Floyd Mayweather, and then for the aftermath, and more recently for running for a seat in the Philippines Senate. But, as if the Filipino world boxing champion doesn’t have enough on his plate, he’s just been confirmed for the opening of a new store in Mall of the Emirates.

Following in the footsteps of David Beckham, who was recently in Dubai to open the new Adidas store, Pacquiao will make an appearance at Go Sport on November 5. The brand have told fans to monitor their Instagram and Twitter closely, as details of how you can meet him will be revealed soon.

Along with his boxing a political endeavours, the 36-year-old is also a keen basketball player. And it appears that he’s using this Dubai trip to kill two birds with one stone. Following the GO Sport appearance he’ll be the player-coach for his team, Mahindra Enforcers, during their Dubai match on November 6.

The team are set to play Alaska Aces on Friday November 6 for the PBA Philippines Basketball Cup at Al Wasl Club. There are three other annual competitions held by PBA, however this cup is seen as one of the most important, as teams aren’t allowed to hire foreign players.

So it looks like there will be plenty of opportunity for Pacquiao fans to see the boxer while he’s in Dubai.
