UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey
There are, of course, two versions of UB40, the Birmingham, England band who rose to prominence in the early 1980s with their political-tinged reggae. One played with Billy Ocean at Taste of Dubai a couple of weeks ago, but it’s this one, UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey, that boasts the principal cast from the original band – including lead vocalist Ali Campbell. Supported by their 12-piece band, they will be mining all the hits from the previous 40 years, including their breakthrough song about unemployment “One in Ten” and 1986 hit “Rat in the Kitchen”. They have sold 70 million records and been touring almost non-stop for four decades, so they know how to entertain a crowd. If you miss them here, jump on a plane and catch them in Bahrain on Friday.
When: Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 9pm, March 30
Where: Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium
Price: From AED150

per cent discount. We recommend you there early because it’s going to be pretty busy (SUPER busy)

Nasimi Sessions with Robin Schulz
A massive lineup of talent as Nasimi Sessions returns. The headliner Robin Schulz is an old favourite in Dubai having sold out his previous visit to Atlantis in October 2016, and after hits such as “Shed a Light”, “Sugar” and “Lay It All on Me”, the German probably needs no introduction. He will be backed up by Rudimental’s DJ and French DJ Hugel.
