It's coming home for England if the memes are to be believed
If you haven't been following the World Cup until now, you'll be forgiven for not knowing that it's not over and England haven't won it.
"It's Coming Home" has been screamed so vehemently, and so consistently for the last few weeks, that the Brits (we say the Brits, but we're pretty sure the Scots and the Welsh are rooting for Belgium, France or Croatia, along with everyone else) seem to think it's all over. Just to clarify, it's not.
And although they may not have lifted the World Cup just yet, it's the Lightning Seeds lyrics to, you guessed it, 'It's Coming Home' that are making this tournament truly meme-worthy.
And that's what it's all about these days, right? At the end of the day, they may not run away with the tournament, but the English fans will definitely run away with the retweets.
Scotland might not be backing England, but Shrek is
Only Fools and Horses might be the best one yet
They've also enlisted Neo from The Matrix
