Salad Fingers is back for the first time in five years
Back in 2004, the world was introduced to Salad Fingers – possibly one of the weirdest things you'll ever see on the internet.
For those of you who aren’t aware, it's an animated web series about a disgusting, childlike zombie with a fondness for rusty spoons.
But Salad Fingers soon became an internet sensation, way before people had figured out what "going viral" meant.
And here’s some good news for fans of the bizarre animation. It’s back, for its first full episode in five years.
Back in December, the series’ creator, David Firth, revealed there were plans to bring the back the YouTube sensation.
He said: "I’ve just almost finished a new episode of Salad Fingers.
"I’ve been working on it for a whole year, it’s the longest one yet and a lot of people thought the series had finished but I was just doing other things like Cream and making a compilation film."
And now, in a trailer for the show, Salad Fingers returns and it's weirder than ever.
The promo shows various scenes of the character playing with a doll and squeezing another gross-looking creature before smashing up a mirror on the floor.
Salad Fingers then talks to himself, as he his known to do, and says "Well, hello Mr Fingers. There you are. I think you’re about ready to grow up a little, don’t you?"
At the end of the clip, the return date is revealed and it's sooner than you might think.
Salad Fingers will be back on screens on January 30.
We hope you're as excited as we are.
