Netflix wants to turn its shows into games

If you ever thought some of Netflix’s best shows are perfectly setup for a brilliant game, we’ve got some great news for you.

The huge streaming service revealed that it will be joining E3 2019, the biggest annual gaming convention taking place on June 11, and teased that it will have a few games up its sleeve.

It’s already announced Stranger Things 3: The Game coming out on Nintendo Switch, a top-down 2D beat ‘em up that we can’t wait to get our hands on. But Netflix’s tweet tease doesn't end there...

There’s “more to come”? We’re happy to hear that.

Netflix will take part in E3’s Coliseum program, with a panel named ‘Bringing Your Favourite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games'.

While there’s not much more information about what Netflix original shows will be turned into games, we could see everything from BoJack Horseman to Black Mirror being action adventures or horror titles. Who knows, maybe even Orange in the New Black?

In the meantime, check out the trailer for the new Stranger Things game, expected to release on Thursday July 4.

Speaking of TV shows, we’ve gone through some of the best and picked out 13 top series (and more) for you to binge-watch this summer.

In the gaming front, Dubai is hosting the huge Insomnia Gaming Festival this year, and it boasts retro gaming, a VR gaming section, a Cosplay Masquerade and much more.

Maybe, just maybe, Netflix will finally announce that it will be available on Nintendo Switch as well…
