Disney’s Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series may see return of Ewan McGregor
We may be seeing the end of the Star Wars saga later this year with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other stories to be told from the galaxy far, far away.
Ewan McGregor is reportedly in talks to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new Disney+ series.
This will be the third live-action show announced for the streaming service, with the other two being The Mandalorian and a Rogue spin-off based around Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor.
It’s still early days, so we’re not quite sure what the show will officially be about, but McGregor is looking to return to the role.
The 48-year-old actor played the younger version of the Jedi master in three Star Wars movies - The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clone and Revenge of the Sith.
The first Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, is set to be released on November 12 - the day the streaming service launches in the US.
