Mohammed Bin Rashid Meets With The Founder Of The World Economic Forum

In Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with the founder and executive chain parson of the WEF ( World Economic Forum while the World Government Summit (WGC)’s pre-summit day was organized. The Summit was held from 13th to 15th February to discuss the ‘Shaping Future Governments’ Theme.

Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also attended this meeting and welcomed Professor Klaus Schwab to the summit. Moreover, he also emphasized the need for coordination and close cooperation to face the global economic challenges within the governments.

Further Mohammed Sheikh also highlighted the collaboration between WGS and WEF to develop a global vision and global dialogue to encourage sustainable economic progress. He also enlightened the opportunities and new ideas being generated by the World Economic Forum to address the economic challenges faced by the world.

Professor Klaus Schwab commended the World Government Summit’s role to foster the global dialogue on basic issues and promote internal corporations among the governments to resolve any global problem.

This meeting has put a lot of emphasis on the exchange of solutions and ideas and global cooperation to promote sustainable economic development. The World Government Summit is the best platform for the decision-makers and leaders to discuss solutions to any challenges which a lot of governments face together

In Attendance at the meeting were also Omar bin Sultan Al Olama who is the Managing Director of the World Government Summit Organization, Minister of State for Remote work Applications, Digital Economy, and Artificial Intelligence; Mohammad bin Abdulla Al Gergawi the Chairman of World Government Organization and Minister of Cabinet Affairs and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum is Chief Executive and Chairman of Emirates Airline and Group and also serves as the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority’s President.

Later on Mohammed bin Rashid also met the prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government. The meeting discussed cooperation between Iraq ( particularly the Kurdistan area and a few nearby areas) and the UAE.

They also discussed investment and the economy. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid highlighted the good relations between Iraq and Uae. During the meeting, the Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan and His Highness also talked about global and regional topics in the common interest of both nations.

HE Masrour Barzani expressed that he was quite happy meeting his highness and got a chance to highlight the bilateral relations between Irque, UAE, and the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

What is the World Government Summit?

The world GOvernment summit is the annual event organized every year to bring leads from academia, business, and governments together to address some of the important issues faced by the different governments across the world.

The most significant impact of WGC has been sustainable economic development. This summit has played an important role in creating economic systems which are socially responsible and environmentally friendly.
