Dubai Airport to have ‘record-breaking’ weekend

Emirates has warned passengers that this weekend is likely to be the busiest of 2015. The airline expects over 34,000 people to be checking-in at Terminal 3 in Dubai Airport on December 18, and over 535,000 people are expected to travel with emirates from December 17 to December 19.

If you’re going to be amongst the crowds it’s definitely best to leave extra time at the airport. Although Emirates is expecting the highest footfall at Dubai Airport on Friday 18th, the airport is extremely busy today and is likely to remain busy until the end of the month. Top destinations for people travelling from Dubai include Beirut, London, Bangkok, Istanbul, Karachi and Cairo.
