The Backstreet Boys, a.k.a. “BSB”, is a band of five members: AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell. The band was formed 30 years back in 1993 and had their first single named “We’ve Got It Goin’ On” released back in 1995. The song, even though only had a ranking of sixty-nine on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, became quite a sensation. Later, the band released their international debut album titled “Backstreet Boys” released in 1996.

The band gained its international reach and popularity following the release of its second album, named “Backstreet’s Back”, internationally in 1997.

Their first full-length album to be released in the United States was “Millennium”, which was released in 1999, followed by “Black & Blue”, which was released in 2000.

To date, the Backstreet Boys have sold over 130 million copies of their records globally, thus making them the best-selling boyband ever, and are also among the best-selling group of music artists in the world.

Backstreet Boys have gained several achievement records and recognitions over the years, including being the first boyband and the only group since Led Zeppelin to have the first ten albums released to reach the top 10 list on the Billboard 200 chart.

Also, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), have given both the “Backstreet Boys” and “Millennium” albums from the bands with “diamond” certification, which them one of the only few bands to have multiple albums with the diamond certification.

The group also has a star with their name on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, and also had a docu-movie made on their lives named “Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made of”.

The latest tour is based on their tenth studio album titled “DNA”, which was released back in 2019, and became the third album from the band to hit number one on the charts. This also marks the eleventh concert that the band will be organizing, which was on a temporary halt during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The last album release from the band was titled “A Very Backstreet Christmas and was released on October 14, 2022.”

The band has gone through its highs and lows, and also lost singer Aaron Carter, who was also the brother of the band’s member Nick Carter. A few days after Aaron’s death, the band paid their tribute during a concert held in London. During the tribute speech, singer Kevin Richarson said “Tonight, we have got a little bit of a heavy heart because we have lost one of our family members. We just wanted to find a moment in our show to remember him.”

During their much-anticipated show in Abu Dhabi, the band will also perform on their best-hit songs of all time, including “Everybody”, “I Want It That Way”, and “Shape of My Heart”.
